Autumn has arrived in full force – at least here, where I’m writing from – and it stirred a memory I’ve been meaning to share: a new print from last year’s fall in Shetland.
Shetland still lives quietly in my heart.

I remember how the light shifted by the minute near Meal Beach. The wind would rise and fall like breath. There was the scent of grass mingling with sea spray, and that strange, beautiful contrast—the sun’s fleeting warmth against the sharp bite of cold air.
Shetland is a land of pure sensation.
I hope this print carries some of that feeling with it.
