I’m Retiring PoTM

Yesterday, on a whim, I decided to put an end to my Print of The Month series.

It started as an experiment – something fun and structured – but over time it slowly became more of a chore than a creative spark. And, if I’m being honest, it didn’t bring much visibility or financial return either. (Ah yes, the joys of being an artist.)

As the months went on, I also realized something important: the kinds of photos that make for striking, sellable prints aren’t always the ones I most enjoy taking – or even the ones I have the opportunity to capture most often. Forcing myself into that mold started to pull me away from what I actually love about photography.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on the heart of my creative journey – the curiosity, the exploration, the moments that feel honest and personal. Somewhere in that space, a new direction has started to take shape. These upcoming plans will let me focus more on the work that feels true to me, and create primarily for myself again – not for algorithms, expectations, or product lists.

I’m not quite ready to reveal what’s next, but trust me – there are plans. And I’m excited. Stay tuned.
